Our love story with Portugal began in 2011 when Jonathan and Maira, a Brazilian-Israeli couple, moved to Lisbon.

Lisbon was very different then, a sleepy city on the outskirts of Europe where time seemed to have stood still. There were few tourists in the city, mainly Europeans for whom Lisbon was a kind of guarded secret. Lisbon had many abandoned buildings, closed shops, homeless people on the streets and a general pessimism. However, Lisbon had its charm, beauty, calm, history and it was love at first sight.
